What are crypto ATMs?

A crypto ATM is a device that allows you to physically buy various cryptocurrencies with cash. The ATM is connected to an exchange that executes the order. After you select the type and amount of cryptocurrency you want to buy, you enter the cash and the ATM completes the transaction online.

What documents do I need to verify myself?

You will need an official photo ID (passport or ID card). Please note that the photo ID must not be expired. When using the passport, proof of the residential address is required. This can be either an electricity, gas or telephone bill (not older than 1 year), as well as a bank statement (incl. address) or a certificate of registration.

Why do I have to register to use your vending machines?

As a service of Sutor Bank, we need to verify your identity before we can allow you to purchase cryptocurrencies. Our video identification process follows German banking standards and is required to ensure that the service we provide is legally compliant. Adhering to the highest standards allows for an excellent level of security and fraud prevention for all of our user accounts. Once you are registered, no further steps are required to use our Kurant machines.

Do I get a receipt for a purchase?

For our One-Way Vending Machines (Purchase Only), no receipt will be printed. After purchase, you will automatically receive a statement in your email inbox after about 10-15 minutes.

Can I reverse a transaction at the ATM?

Once a transaction has been made on the blockchain, it cannot be reversed. Therefore, before carrying out the transaction, make sure that you have entered your correct wallet address.

What are the fees for the purchase?

You can always find the actual rate of your desired cryptocurrency including the applicable fees at the ATM before you start a transaction. Currently, the fee is 8.1%.
